VALIANCY should be hard to beat in Race 2 of the day at Warracknabeal. The Maher/Eustace galloper has had two career starts and has placed in both of those. She was runner-up behind Angry Skies at Swan Hill on debut before heading to Moonee Valley and bumping into the handy galloper, Everglade. She couldn’t catch the leader that day. Drop back to Warracknabeal suits and in her two runs she has produced better benchmark figures than what any horse in this race has produced. Expect her to win.

Race 6 No. 11 RUTILANT– ($5)
This looks to be a suitable assignment for RUTILANT with the looming scratching of Wicklow Lass, who lined up at Casterton on Monday. The four-year-old has won two of his seven career starts and resumed with an excellent performance for his new stable at Mildura on October 4 when runner-up behind Zoutons over the 1000m. In that race he settled back before running home well. He steps up to the 1200m and has drawn perfectly in barrier 5.
