The three-year-old from the Patrick Payne yard has had the two career starts and didn’t quite handle the track at Seymour on debut when 5th behind Divazou in what has turned out to be an ok form race. The son of Starcraft headed to the Pakenham Synthetic after that and settled back before rattling home to place 3rd behind Suppose I Do. He just needs to transfer that form to Warracknabeal and the track shouldn’t be as giving as what is was on his debut. He has drawn barrier 5 with Will Gordon to ride. That hoop strikes at 20% for the stable.

Race 4 No 8 BOLD JULIUS- ($8)

BOLD JULIUS can be an improver in Race 4. The Maher/Eustace galloper debuted at Randwick in the $500,000 Inglis Millennium (1000m) last December and was a bit at sea before resuming at Sale on June 7 and running 7th behind Regal Zeus over the 1108m. He was deep and wide throughout before landing four lengths away. This looks a lot easier and the son of Brazen Beau comes in with the second best last start benchmark figures of any runner. He should have improvement to come second up and will be ridden by Siraj Narredu, who is two from eight for the stable, providing a 40% profit on turnover for punters.
