Race 9 No. 1 DUCHESS OF DORSET- ($4.65)
DUCHESS OF DORSET can go close in Race 9. The Symon Wilde-trained galloper has had the three runs this time in and lined up in a BenchMark 84 at her most recent start at Sandown, finishing a one-length 5th behind Foxicon. That horse has since come out and won well again at Sandown, while the 3rd placegetter, Barbie’s Fox, was also successful at the recent Sandown meeting. Duchess Of Dorset drops in grade for this and gets the 2kg claim, while she is a previous Warrnambool winner.

Race 4 No 16 YALTARA- ($4.65)
This looks to be a suitable assignment for YALTARA. The Maher/Eustace galloper has had the two career starts and had a few excuses on debut at Sandown last year before heading to Echuca and running 4th behind Mr Tickles over the 1100m. She stuck on well that day and the form from both races turned out to be solid. The daughter of I Am Invincible resumes and has attracted a bit of support in the market, while she should enjoy a nice time of it from barrier 3.
