This might be one for the former New Zealand galloper, RUBICON CROSSING. She has had three runs in Australia for a dominant win when resuming and has since performed well in her two runs at Moonee Valley. She was slowly away over the 955m last time before closing off well for 3rd behind Secret War and just needs a better getaway this time around.

Race 3 No. 7 STARDOM AWAAYTS – ($6.50)

STARDOM AWAAYTS can go close in Race 3. The locally trained galloper has had two runs this time in and stepped up to the 1600m at Ararat on November 27, doing his best work late when 4th behind Unfair Dismissal. The Matthew Williams-trained galloper is on the short back-up but was a winner third up at his last preparation off a two-week break and should be ready to fire with Jordan Childs on board.
