Race 1:  No.6  BROADWAY BOUNCER  ($3.30 with Ladbrokes)

Local galloper BROADWAY BOUNCER is unbeaten this time in and looks well placed here to bring up the hat-trick today. Last start, the Kermadec gelding came off a first-up (Maiden) win at Newcastle when he franked that effort by going back-to-back at Hawkesbury, taking out a CLASS 1 Hcp over 1300m. He had plenty in reserve that day and the step-up to the mile here looks ideal for him. Jason Collett was aboard for that victory and sticks with him here. The promising three-year-old already looks city class capable and on his home track today, looks the goods for three-straight.

Race 4:  No.3  RAZORS  ($2.10 with Palmerbet)

James Cummings saddles-up RAZORS here who is in top-shelf form this time in and looks poised to go on with it today. Last start, the Sidestep gelding came off a first-up Maiden win on this track when he stepped up to a harder BM64 Hcp and beat all but one home in the 1300m event at Hawkesbury. Only bad luck stopped him from going back-to-back that day. He meets similar company here and has James McDonald on board for his first ride on the three-year-old. Nicely drawn in gate four, he maps to settle near mid-field and in the smaller field today, he can stay in touch with the speed up front. Already a winner at the track, the Godolphin galloper looks the testing material here.

Race 7:  No.4  BOIS D’ARGENT  ($7.50 with Bet Right)

Annabel Neasham saddles-up four stable hopefuls here and we are running with the most consistent of them. After 19 career-starts, BOIS D’ARGENT has managed to find the podium on 17 occasions and at his peak today, he looks a solid winning chance at odds. Last start, the Toronado gelding came off finishing runner-up in the Caloundra Cup at the Sunshine Coast when he was gallant in defeat, coming home in third place in the Group 3 Premiers Cup over 2000m at Randwick. With Chad Schofield aboard, he jumped from gate 11 that day and was wide most of the way but still hit the line well. Schofield sticks with the six-year-old grey here and already a two-time winner in Listed company, he can give the Cup a real shake today.
