Race 3 No. 1 HIGHLAND DREAM – ($) 

HIGHLAND DREAM can chalk up the first win of his career when he steps out in Race 3. The four-year-old was thereabouts in his first two starts before stepping out at Traralgon over the 1365m on December 10 and finishing a narrow runner-up behind Everett. Those two gapped the rest and the Matt Laurie-trained galloper went 3.2 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is the best last start benchmark figure of any runner. He will look to cross over from the wide gate and should take some running down with Ted Nugent on board.

Race 5 No. 5  MRS GOSSIP- ($) 

Willing to give MRS GOSSIP another chance in Race 5. The four-year-old was a winner at Mornington two starts ago before heading to Sandown and plugging away for 6th behind Call The Union over the 1600m. This looks easier and she is likely to settle handy in a race that lacks pressure up forward. Reece McLeod rides and provides a 36% profit on turnover when combining with the stable.
