Race 2 No. 7 ZOUSMIC- ($1.90)

ZOUSMIC can get the job done in Race 2 of the day at Hamilton. The four-year-old has placed in five of seven and looked home last time at Moe over the 1628m before going down in the last stride behind Around The Boy. On that occasion, the Moody/Coleman galloper was up to the mile for the first time. He sticks to the trip and this does look to be a weak race.

Race 5 No 7 RICH MEMORIES- ($3.60)

RICH MEMORIES can go one spot better than a last start effort that saw him finish runner-up at Warrnambool on August 20 over the 1200m. That came on a Heavy track and he overcame a poor start to lead before being run down late by Tango And Cash. That pair put a gap on the rest. The five-year-old has performed well on drier tracks in the past and at the fourth run of his last preparation he was a narrow runner-up at Stawell. Look for him to settle up front in a race that lacks pressure. He should be in it for a long way.

Race 6 No. 5 TRUE NOBILITY- ($2.75)

Prepared to roll the dice on TRUE NOBILITY at his first run back from a spell. The five-year-old tends to perform well early on in his preparation’s and was runner-up at Stawell when fresh last time before scoring over the 1100m here when second up. The Peter Chow-trained galloper has won both of his two starts at the track and should be strong late in the piece with Declan Bates to ride.
