Race 4 No. 13 YOTOTSU- ($3.90)
YOTOTSU should find this easier than her most recent start that saw her finish 8th of 10 runners at Sandown on August 30. On that occasion, the Maher/Eustace galloper was first up over the 1300m and overraced in the early to middle stages before battling to the line. At her only other start she was supported as a $1.60 favourite on debut at Pakenham but could only manage 4th. The three-year-old gets some gear changes for this and despite her poor showing last time, she did manage to go 1.7 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is six lengths better than the next best last start figures of any runner and 2.4 lengths better than what any of her rivals in this race have set. With Linda Meech in the saddle, the daughter of Maurice can bounce back.

Race 6 No 1 DUHLATA- ($4.20)
DUHLATA can go close in Race 6. The five-year-old has had three runs this time in and has been edging closer towards a win. He comes off a promising last start effort that saw him finish 3rd at Warrnambool in a BenchMark 64, beaten two lengths by Unseen Ruler. The Adam Chambers-trained galloper went 2.2 lengths slower than standard that day, which is 4.5 lengths better than the class average and the best last start figures of any runner. At the fourth run of his last preparation, he scored at Colac. Brad Rawiler rides and is two from three for the stable.
