Moonee Valley Tips 27/10/2027

BEST BET 🏆

Race 4 No. 6 FRILLED- ($1.92)

FRILLED can go on with the job in Race 4. The four-year-old has had four starts for as many wins, graduating from the country NSW circuit to claim a BenchMark 70 at Moonee Valley over the 1000m on October 6. The Matthew Smith-trained galloper settled in the lead that night before sticking on strong to go a healthy 8.3 lengths faster than standard benchmark. He should be right up to this and Damien Oliver will look to punch up and hold the lead from barrier 1 in the early stages.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 5 No. 3 SHE DANCES.- ($2.10)

Loved the win by SHE DANCES at Caulfield on October 14 over the 1200m and prepared to take the even-money for the Peter Moody and Katherine Coleman-trained mare. At Caulfield, she settled handy at what was her second run back before clearing out to win by more than a length from Rose Quartz. The daughter of Street Boss should be close to her peak and was a winner at her only start at Moonee Valley, with that coming over the 1200m. Linda Meech rides and is two from five for the training combination.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 6 No. 8 RED SUN SENSATION ($7.10)

RED SUN SENSATION can go close in the JRA Cup. Another from the Moody/Coleman yard, he comes in with two runs and had a blowout when a four-length 8th behind Buffalo River over the 1400m when resuming before being held up at a vital time over the 1700m at Caulfield when running on for 3rd behind Maktoob. The four-year-old was a nine-length improver on benchmark figures at the same time of his previous preparation before winning over the 2000m. He draws to do no work from barrier 2 and Craig Williams takes the ride, who has had one run on the son of Awesome Rock for a win.
