RUBAMOS should be hard to beat in the Sale Cup. The Chris Waller-trained galloper was impressive when stepping up to the 1400m at Caulfield, coming out wide before running 3rd behind Ayrton in the Listed Weekend Hussler Stakes (1400m). That was his first go at the Victorian was of racing and he was strong late in the piece to go 8.5 lengths faster than standard benchmark. A firmer in the early betting, this will be his first go at the mile and he looks like he is after thee trip. Craig Williams rides and won’t be far away in the run from barrier 8.

Race 5 No. 7 LADY JONES.- ($3.95)
LADY JONES shapes as a major player in Race 5 at Sale. The four-year-old resumed recently and chased hard to finish 3rd behind Belthil at Caulfield on October 18 over the 1440m. She was deep in that race and produced the fastest splits from the 600m to the 200m before just peaking late. Second up at her last prep she improved more than 10 lengths on benchmark figures when up in class at Flemington. Craig Williams rides and will give her every possible chance from barrier 2.
