BEST BET 🏆 (WIN)  

Race 3 No. 14 ZED OR ALIVE – ($2.35)

Nice debut performance by ZED OR ALIVE and he should be hard to beat in this grade. The Moody/Coleman galloper stepped out on July 15 at Flemington over the 1800m and settled back in the field of 12 before working home strongly out wide to land a couple of lengths off Sunsource. That form looks good for this and the drop back to the 1600m shouldn’t be a factor against this lot. 

NEXT BEST 🥈 (WIN) 

Race 5 No 11 HEDGED- ($2.70)

HEDGED is another that comes to Seymour after a promising run in the city. The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper has had the two career runs and resumed with a 4th at Moonee Valley when the leader bias on the fence coated against. That came over the 1000m and he produced the second fastest last 200m in what was a bit of a sit sprint. Step up to the 1100m should suit and early market support suggests this boy should be hard to beat.
