Race 2 No. 9 ROLLING ROCK- ($2.10)
ROLLING ROCK should be hard to beat in Race 2. The Team Hayes-trained galloper resumed at Horsham over the 1100m on September 26 and settled just worse than midfield, producing the fastest last 200m to finish runner-up behind Larry Of Arabia. She was strong through the line that day and at her only other second up run, the daughter of Pierro improved from a 5th at Donald over the 1200m to a runner-up at Pakenham over the 1400m. She draws perfectly in barrier 2 and can land in a nice spot.

Race 7 No. 7 ONE REASON- ($3.85)
This looks to be a winnable race for ONE REASON. The four-year-old has had two runs this time in for a 3rd at Hamilton before finishing runner-up at Warrnambool over the 1200m on October 6. In his recent run, the Symon Wilde-trained gelding settled midfield and ran on well to land a length away. He should be at his peak at his third run from a spell and the slight rise in distance suits.
