Race 1: All Too Hard @ Vinery Stud Hcp — 13:45, 1203m
She’s Extra looks the right kind of 2YO to follow in a midweek Warwick Farm dash: she’s already got a win next to her name (form: 1), she gets in light at 54.5kg (120.1lb), and the fact she’s not wrapped in cotton wool suggests she’s furnished early.
From gate 10 she’ll need William Stanley to make a decision early — hold a spot without getting caught deep, or slide in and trust she’s good enough late. In these baby handicaps, I’d rather be with the filly who’s proven she can cop race pressure than the debutants who might need the run when the sprint goes on.
The danger is Jourama (gate 11) purely off the upside and the booking: Rawiller rides Warwick Farm as well as anyone (11 rides here for 3 wins and he hits the frame nearly two-thirds of the time). He can pinch lengths where others can’t, and that matters when the kids start to wobble under pressure.
Staking: Each-way She’s Extra. If you want a saver, small win saver on Jourama because Rawiller can turn messy juvenile races into tidy results.
Race 2: Racing And Sports Mdn Hcp — 14:20, 1750m
Here’s the puzzle: do you want the Waller brigade because it’s Waller, or do you want the Waller runner that actually maps cleanly?
I’m siding with Think Itz You (gate 6). The form line (89-52) says he’s building, and this is the sort of race where a horse on the improve can put a field of “nearly horses” away if he lands in the first half and gets cover at the right time. Tim Clark is a big tick at Warwick Farm too — 10 rides for 4 winners and a 60% place strike at this track is the kind of rider profile you can bet with, not just admire.
Sarapo is the obvious danger because Rawiller jumps on and Waller’s got him fit enough to be competitive deep into a prep (6540-3). He’s also the one we know has handled Warwick Farm once already — he placed here on his only course start — but with just that single run, it’s a reference point, not a badge.
If you want the blow-up horse, Nothing Finer (75-33) keeps finding the line and Joseph Pride can place one to win a maiden when the time’s right. The draw (11) is the knock — he’ll need luck and a ride with intent from Adkins.

Race 3: Ranvet (Bm64) — 14:55, 1422m
The stable move is the whole story here. Waterhouse & Bott saddle up three (Farindira, Kakadu Sunset, Scrumptious) and their Warwick Farm record is outrageous: 7 wins and 12 placings from 13 runners. When they turn up like this, they’re not sightseeing.
I’m taking Scrumptious to be the one they’ve targeted for this exact set-up. She’s in form (24-913), draws gate 4, and she gets Tim Clark — the rider on the card with the clearest Warwick Farm edge at meaningful sample size. From that barrier he can put her in the first four without spending petrol, and in a benchmark mile-ish race that’s often the difference between winning and “good run, no cigar.”
Just Maz is the danger and the bet-killer if you ignore her. She’s a last-start winner (form: 1), draws the inside (gate 1), and Rawiller is a serious upgrade in any midweek handicap. If she controls the rail and the speed is moderate, she can make this very hard for anything forced to circle.
Outside of those two, keep an eye on Manaajem (1/540-3). Snowden runners can improve sharply second-up, and Schofield is patient enough not to panic from gate 9.

Race 4: Schweppes (Bm72) — 15:30, 1531m
The market (if you were shopping) will probably gravitate to the big names and top weights, but this race reads like it can be stolen by the runner who gets the right run and actually enjoys Warwick Farm.
Autumn Dream is my pick. She comes in with a handy profile (7136-2), she gets a comfortable 56kg (122.3lb), and she’s already run well here — placed on her only Warwick Farm start — which is all you can ask for in a field that doesn’t have deep course histories. If Siena Grima can have her stalking instead of chasing, she’ll get her chance to pounce.
The danger is Spirit Of Camelot from gate 1. You don’t have to love the recent form (2210-8), but inside draw plus top weight can look ugly on paper and still win races if the horse is allowed to dictate terms. And Anna Roper has at least shown she can navigate Warwick Farm — she’s placed on her only ride here — again, a single ride isn’t a trend, but it’s not nothing.
I’m also keeping London Star safe (gate 2). She’s the kind that can lob into the 1-1 from a good alley and pinch it if the others overthink the race.
Staking: Each-way Autumn Dream. Small saver win bet Spirit Of Camelot if the track is playing kind to on-pace runners early in the day.
The plays
