Race 4 No. 3 BRAVE DREAM

This looks the race for Brave Dream. Small field, 54kg and races well on the wet. No Apology is the biggest danger and I think Bad Wolf is a mad chance at $26. Thinking Brave Dream can settle close and then has the best turn of foot in the race.

Race 5 No. 7 THE VELVET QUEEN

I’ve landed on The Velvet Queen here. There is obviously a question mark over the 2200m, but I think Chris Parnham can relax out the back on this mare who will relish conditions. I don’t expect them to go fast which suits her since she steps up 600m.

VALUE BET 💰

Race 10 No. 8 SECRET STATUE

We were on this horse first-up each-way at $30’s and of course he ran fourth. Last start wasn’t as bad as it looks and now Tash Faithful gets back in the saddle. Drawn to get a nice run and there are a few shorter in the market that I don’t think should be. Happy to play each-way again at $17/$4.40.
