Race 2 No. 6 HERE THE CROWD- ($2.65) 

It was a solid debut effort by HERE THE CROWD on April 1 at Sandown over the 1200m, finishing runner-up behind Icarus. The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper overcame traffic at the 400m and loomed up to win at the 200m before just fading late behind the winner. She ran solid time relative to this grade, going a healthy 5.3 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which is nearly eight lengths better than what any horse in this race has produced. The daughter of Trapeze Artist should benefit from the race experience and just needs to overcome the inside barrier with Carleen Hefel to ride.

Race 7 No.6 AZTEC STATE- ($4.65) 

Keen on AZTEC STATE in Race 7. The Team Hayes-trained galloper resumed over the 1400m at Sandown on March 27 in a BenchMark 70 and settled back in the field of seven before closing off steadily to place 4th behind Kahhof. He drops back to a BM64 and at his second run last time in, the son of Pierro was a 5.6 length improver on benchmark figures when going from a Bendigo Maiden win over the 1500m to a 3rd in a BM70 over the 1600m at Caulfield. Mark Zahra sticks on board and might look to settle a littler closer from the better barrier this time around.

Race 6 No. 1 FRAGILE LOVE- ($7) 

Going with FRAGILE LOVE in Race 6. The Matthew Ellerton-trained galloper has had two runs this time in, running on to fill the exacta in narrow fashion behind Miss Aria at the Caulfield Heath on March 13 before finishing an unlucky 4th at Sandown over the 1200m in a BenchMark 70 on April 1. The daughter of No Nay Never was last at the 400m and was held up before getting out with just over 200m to go and producing the fastest last 200m. She drops back to a BM64 and should be ready at her third run from a spell.
