KEEP ON GOING can get the job done in the opening race at Dubbo. The former Victorian stepped out for his first run for the Dubbo based Stephen Edwards on July 25, finishing runner-up at Scone over the 900m. He began awkwardly that day, which isn’t ideal over that trip, before running on the fill the exacta behind the handy Drawn To Win. The four-year-old draws wide for this assignment but gives the impression that the 1120m should suit.

Race 8 No. 5 THE PRES- ($4.20)
This might be the one for THE PRES, who is as honest as they come. The five-year-old comes into this with four straight minor placings with two of those coming at Dubbo. Unlucky in a couple of those and at his most recent start he stepped out at Goulburn, where he couldn’t quite reel in Rebel County after racing wide and without cover throughout. Withe even luck in transit, he can pick up a deserved win here.
