BEST BET 🏆   

Race 7 No. 3 NAJEM SUHAIL- ($3.70) 

Nice race to finish off with the sprinters in action at Listed level in the Kensington Stakes. NAJEM SUHAIL is unbeaten in two runs over the 1000m at Flemington and can make it back to back wins after scoring over the 1000m on Oaks Day in the Century Stakes. He arrived in the nick of time to defeat Spacewalk that day, going a very healthy nine lengths faster than standard benchmark on the one-week back-up. The six-year-old produced a similar figure at his only other go at the track and trip when first up at the start of his current preparation.

Race 2 No. 3  LAZY SUSAN- ($3.90) 

LAZY SUSAN can go close in Race 2. The four-year-old has finished top three in four of his five career starts and has landed in the runner-up slot at her past two. She bumped into Ray Magnerio at Sale in late October with the winner out of that scoring in impressive fashion on Stakes Day. At her most recent start, the Gavin Bedggood-trained galloper stepped out in a BenchMark 70 at Moonee Valley and chased well behind Aminatu. This looks slightly easier and the daughter of Capitalist has attracted plenty of support in the early betting with Wiremu Pinn to ride. He strikes at 22% for the stable, providing a 28% profit on turnover for punters.

Race 3 No. 1  ARCTIC FAIRY- ($6) 

Willing to roll the dice on ARCTIC FAIRY at her first run back from a spell. The Matthew Ellerton-trained galloper has an excellent record over the 1000m and was a strong winner at the track and trip in March ahead of Little Miss Kubi and Ojai, going a healthy nine lengths faster than standard benchmark. She has performed well when fresh in the past and should be ready. 

BEST VALUE 💰   

Race 5 No. 13 EMPRESSIVE ENUFF- ($8.50) 

EMPRESSIVE ENUFF can bounce back in Race 5. The five-year-old narrowly missed when runner-up in two runs at Mornington and Pakenham earlier this preparation before heading to Sandown and running 9th over the 1200m in a BenchMark 70. He was posted three wide in that race before fading late with the tough run telling in the end. With a better run in transit this looks within his grasp. Teo Nugent might look to settle just behind the leaders from barrier 10.
