Race 5:  No.10  ERAANTYVA

The Chris Waller-trained ERAANTYVA has made a glowing start to her career and looks well placed here to go one better today. Last start, the Zoustar filly made a good impression on debut when she beat all but one home in a Three-Year-Old fillies Maiden over 1100m at Canterbury. She turned for home the widest runner and finished strongly to grab that second prize, beaten just half a length on the line. She comes off that city gallop and draws well here in gate two with Tommy Berry as the new pilot today. Fitter for that debut effort, the extra distance here will suit and she looks the one to beat.

Race 6:  No.3  HIAWATHA

Annabel Neasham saddles-up HIAWATHA here who is third-up today and looks well placed in this field to be given serious thought. Having his first start on Australian soil (after an 18-month break), he fell in a Class 1 at Kembla Grange. Then, last start, he bounced back and beat home all but one in another Class 1 event, here over 2100m. His Irish form prior to arriving was top-rate and his effort here last start was impressive. Already a winner when third-up, with Tyler Schiller on board today, he can go one better in this company.

Race 8:  No.2  IMPULSIVITY  

The Team Snowden-trained IMPULSIVITY has been in great touch this time in and looks set to bounce back in this contest. Since resuming, the Russian Revolution filly found the podium in her first three runs back winning tow of those) before running into bad luck last start. She settled in the back half of the field and couldn’t get a clear crack at them, finishing unplaced in the BM72 Hcp over 1100m at Canterbury. Her six starts have resulted in two wins and two minor placings and today she gets the gun-run from gate one with Jett Stanley as the new pilot. At her peak today, she looks great value here.
