Race 2 No. 1 ARNOLD – ($2)
Pretty keen on ARNOLD in Race 2 at Kembla Grange. The Chris Waller-trained galloper has had just the one career start back in December last year and closed off very strongly to just miss out behind Pizarro. Form out of that race has been excellent and he went five lengths faster than standard benchmark, which is six lengths better than what any horse in this race has produced. The son of Hinchinbrook has been gelded since then and comes in with two trials under his belt. James McDonald rides.

Race 6 No. 1 DELACOUR- ($5.50)
DELACOUR can go a couple of spots better than a first up effort that saw her finish 3rd behind Kattegat at Queanbeyan on July 11 over the 1000m. On that occasion, the five-year-old led them up before just fading late. Second up last time she improved a couple of lengths on benchmark figures to score over the 1000m at Albury before just missing in an $80000 race at Canberra. The daughter of Magic Albert has the early pace to cross from barrier 10 and should take some running down late in the piece.
