Race 4 No. 2 HARVESTA – ($3.30)
Race 4 at Lismore is a Class 1 over the 1526m and HARVESTA can improve off a first up effort that saw him finish 6th at the Gold Coast on July 16, beaten just over two lengths. He settled handy and looked to be in contention at the 200m mark that day before just fading late. The four-year-old went 5.4 lengths slower than standard benchmark in that race, which are the best last start figures of any runner. Second up last time he improved three lengths to finish runner-up at Grafton before winning at the Sunshine Coast later on. He should be tough to beat.

Race 6 No. 4 ISLA’S DAY – ($4.80)
Looking for a big performance from ISLA’S DAY at her first run back from a spell. The lightly raced four-year-old closed off her last campaign with a win at Lismore over the 1410m in Maiden grade, leading all the way to defeat Hardly The End by a length, while there was a five length gap back to 3rd. She has been solid in her two fresh runs, finishing runner-up on debut, while she was a bit luckless at her last prep when fresh at Ipswich. The daughter of Domesday was close up in a recent trial, while she races well with the cut out of the ground and has drawn to be prominent from barrier 3.
