The Chris Waller-trained PRETTY WILD comes in nicely at the weights here and having her third race start will take beating. Last start, the Brazen Beau filly stepped-up from a Maiden win to a BM72 Hcp over 1300m at Randwick and was impressive when beating all but one home that day. She ran a new personal best, covering the trip, 2.4 lengths quicker than benchmark the best in this field. Nicely drawn in gate four, she maps to settle mid-field and fitter for her first two runs, she can give this contest a real shake.

Race 5: No. 3 LORD ARDMORE ($3 bet365)
Chris Waller saddles-up LORD ARDMORE here and second-up, looks a genuine threat in this company. Last start, the Reliable Man gelding was fresh off a lengthy 22-week break where he beat all but one to the line in a BM94 Hcp over 1300m at Randwick. Fitter for that run, he returns to Rosehill where he is unbeaten in two starts here and Hugh Bowman has the reins for the first time. Already a winner at the track and distance and a winner when second-up also, conditions are also made to order for him and he will take beating here.

Newcastle galloper GRAND RUMORE returns from a stint in Melbourne and looks in the mix for this contest. Last start, the five-year-old mare found her mojo and brought up her first win this campaign when she took out a BM90 over 1420m at Flemington. She ran that out, 10 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this line-up by 2 lengths. That was also a new personal best for her that day. Already a three-time winner on wet tracks, conditions look ideal here and from a nice draw (gate 5), she will give a bold sight here at odds.
