Race 6 No. 4 SHAKATTACK- ($5)

SHAKATTACK can go close in Race 6. The four-year-old resumed at Sandown on November 22 over the 1200m and stuck on well for 3rd behind Sisterhood, who has since come out and won again. Second up last time, the Clinton McDonald-trained galloper improved from a 3rd at Cranbourne to a win at Pakenham before performing ok in Saturday class behind Lounge Bar Rubi. He has the early speed to overcome the wide barrier and this looks within his grasp.

Race 4 No. 12 MISS GABIANO- ($8.50)

MISS GABIANO showed improvement at her most recent start and the Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman-trained galloper can go on with the job in Race 6. The three-year-old did a few things wrong at her first three starts before settling just worse than midfield at Bendigo over the 1000m and running on for 4th behind Ezeiza. The 3rd horse home out of that has since won at Terang. She gets out to the 1200m now and draws perfectly in barrier 4.
