BEST BET 🏆

Race 10:  No. 7  KEEFY  ($3  bet365)

Frankie Lor saddles-up KEEFY here who is rising in class but still looks the one to beat here. Last start, the All Too Hard gelding was third-up and went one better by winning a Class 3 Hcp, here over the 1400m journey. He had it all against him that day as he drew the car park in gate 14, was trapped wide all the way, and still ran away to win comfortably in the end. Drawn much better today, Joao Moreira sticks with him and despite the rise in class, he is already a track and distance winner and will surely strip fitter for three runs back this time in. A trouble-free run could see him go back-to-back today.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 8:  No. 7  REVE PARISIEN  ($2.90  Unibet)

The Paul O’Sullivan-trained REVE PARISIEN is in good touch of late and looks well placed here to bring up his second Sha Tin victory today. Last start, the Ferlax gelding stuck on well to finish fourth in a Class 3, here over 1200m. He ran his last 600m, 4.4 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this field. He drops in weight here and has Zac Purton sticking with him today. He meets similar company here and maps to settle near the pace again from barrier eight. With a trouble-free run, he is capable of giving this a real shake.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 7:  No. 6  TYCOON JEWELLERY  ($3.50  bet365)

The John Size-trained TYCOON JEWELLERY has his fourth race start today and the indications are he will be in the thick of things in this contest. Last start, the Written Tycoon gelding showed plenty of improvement off his first two starts when he beat all but one home in a Class 4, here over 1400m. He ran his last 600m, 2.6 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best here, while posting the fastest final 200m sectional for the race as well. Zac Purton has the reins today and from gate five, he looks every chance of going one better here.
