Race 4:  No.6  BELLA TIVACI  

The Brian Smith-trained BELLA TIVACI has run herself into some form of late and unbeaten at the track and distance, she looks set for back-to-back victories today. Last start, the Tivaci mare made light work of the Heavy 8 surface when she finished best to take out a BM65, here over 1800m. That was her second start at Corbould Park and win number two over the 1800m as well. Here, she meets similar company and has a new rider with Dan McGillivray in the saddle who brings a 2kg claim with him. The mare does no early work from gate two and in her current frame of mind, looks the one to beat in this contest.

Race 7:  No.8  SPIRIT OF BEANS 

We’re left with eight to go around here (after scratchings) and the job looks a lot easier now for SPIRIT OF BEANS who is three starts into this campaign and improving with every run, can deliver his best in this contest. Last start, the Spill The Beans gelding put in his best effort this time in when he beat all but one home in a BM62 over 1680m at Ipswich. He box-seated to the turn, then took control of affairs, only to be beaten home by a swooper, yielding 3kgs in weight to the winner on the day. Rock-hard fit after three starts back, the Chris Anderson-trained galloper looks set for a big performance here.

Race 6:  No.4  AUTUMN SHOW

Stuart Kendrick saddles-up AUTUMN SHOW here who has finally found his mojo and looks well placed here to bring up the hat-trick today. Last start, the three-year-old came off his maiden win (on this track) when he franked that effort by taking out a BM58 Hcp over 2210m at Ipswich. Ryan Wiggins was aboard for both victories and sticks with him here. Now a track and distance winner and in career-best form, he looks a solid winning chance again at juicy odds.
