Race 7 No. 1 SO SHE CAN FLY- ($2.70)

SO SHE CAN FLY is the one to beat in Race 7. The Daniel Bowman-trained galloper has had the five career starts for two wins and resumed at Ararat on March 3, winning comfortably from Boom Boom Sweet. She has had six weeks in between runs but drops in grade to BM58 and enjoys the class edge, while she draws to get the gun run from barrier 4 with Daniel Bowman on board.

Race 5 No. 10 UPPER EAST SIDE – ($7)

UPPER EAST SIDE can just about make it back to back wins when he steps out in Race 5. The six-year-old blew the start and probably needed the run when first up at the track and trip on March 19 before heading to Hamilton and flashing home late to score over the 1100m. He went 1.8 lengths slower than standard benchmark in that race, which is 3.5 lengths better than the next best last start figures of any runner. The Nathan Hobson-trained galloper drops back to the 975m but has won two and placed in another two of his seven starts at the t&d.
