Mark Currie saddles-up TURBOART here and after three runs this preparation, looks the best of the night. Last start, the Flying Artie gelding finished bridesmaid again when he beat all but one to the line in a BM0-62, here over the 870m trip. He ran that out, 1.2 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this line-up by more than 5 lengths. He also recorded the fastest final 400m and 200m sectionals for the race. Already a track winner, he should be ready to peak tonight and with Justin Stanley aboard, looks the one to beat here.

Race 4: No. 3 WINDJANA ($2.80 Palmerbet)
Second-up tonight, the Lindsay Hatch-trained WINDJANA looks set to break through for that maiden win here. Last start, the Headwater mare was fresh off a lengthy 22-week break when she beat all but one home in a Maiden Plate, here over the 870m sprint. She ran a personal best that night, covering the trip, just under a length quicker than benchmark, while posting the fastest final 600m and 400m sectionals as well. Jake Molloy remains in the saddle and with that run under her belt, she will strip fitter and relish the extra distance tonight.

Local trainer Mark Currie is well represented tonight and he kicks-off proceedings here with CHATTY LADY who is second-up and looking a real threat in this contest. Last start, the Spirit Of Boom filly was fresh off a lengthy 23-week absence when she finished fourth in a BM58 Hcp, here over 1200m. She ran her last 600m, 3 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best here by 3 lengths. She also recorded the fastest final 600m and 400m sectionals for the race. Solid stats for a second-up tonight. Finishing runner-up when second-up last preparation, she can get the job done here.
