Race 6:  No. 2  KEEPMOVING  FORWARD   ($5.50  TAB)

The Michael Nolan-trained KEEPMOVING FORWARD is in great touch of late and looks the testing material here today. Last start, the Jet Spur gelding destroyed his opposition in a BM60 Hcp over 1100m at Gatton. Putting more than three lengths on them over the line, he ran his last 600m, 6.4 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this line-up by more than 5 lengths. He also posted the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals for that race as well. Steph Lacy sticks with him here and already placed twice in as many runs here, he goes to the gates as our best of the day.

Race 2:  No. 8  DREAM WEAVING  ($5  Ladbrokes)

The Jason Edwards-trained DREAM WEAVING returns from a city start and looks much more at home here today. Last start, the Dream Ahead mare found them a little too sharp in a NMW Hcp over 1050m at Doomben, finishing unplaced in the run. She still managed to run her last 600m, 1.8 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this field. Two starts back, Corey Bayliss steered her to victory at Dalby in a BM60 Hcp and he is reunited with the mare today. She is yet to miss a podium finish in four starts over the 800m and looks ideally placed here to ring-up career win number three today.
