BEST BET 🏆

Race 5 No. 5 MOESHA- ($4.60)

This looks to be a winnable race for MOESHA. The Peter Moody & Katherine Coleman-trained galloper resumed in a Group 3 at Caulfield on February 10 over the 1100m and endured a poor start before working home very nicely for 4th behind Estriella, despite enduring a chequered run over the last 300m. The daughter of I Am Invincible went 8.1 lengths faster than standard in that race, which is a better figure than what any runner in this race has produced. Second up last time, she improved five lengths on figures when taking out her Maiden at Hamilton before performing well at Group 2 level.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 1 No. 4 SANS DOUTE- ($3.40)

SANS DOUTE can open up Australian Guineas day with a win. The four-year-old will be going for the hat-trick and is two from two down the Flemington straight. She scored by a three length margin in easier company back in December over the 1000m before tackling the 1100m and digging deep at the business end to hold out A Little Deep and Cute As. She has gone more than five lengths faster than standard in those two runs and drops 5kg on her recent win. The gap between starts is a recipe that is working, while the daughter of Not A Single Doubt has options from barrier 5.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 2 No. 4 STRAWBERRY ROCK- ($5.50)

STRAWBERRY ROCK shapes as a solid player in Race 2 of the day at Flemington The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper has had two runs this time in and showed improvement at Caulfield over the 1800m earlier this month when running on for 3rd behind El Soleado. He tends to produce some of his best form when third up and has improved five lengths on benchmark figures at this stage of his past two preparations.
