Race 3 No. 3 PARTY FOR ONE- ($3)

PARTY FOR ONE should be hard to beat in Race 3 of the day at Flemington. The Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper was an impressive winner at the track and trip on May 13, overcoming traffic in the straight to score from Fortunate Kiss. She meets the runner-up 2.5kg worse off at the weights but won with a bit in hand last time and seems to be thriving since switching stables. Stick with her.

Race 4 No 2 MIDTOWN BOSS- ($3.90)

Keen on MIDTOWN BOSS in Race 4. The Mark & Levi Kavanagh-trained galloper has won two of five and resumed at Flemington over the 1200m on May 13, running on strongly to place 3rd behind Airman. The son of Street Boss went a healthy 8.9 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which are the second best last start figures of any runner, just shy of the runner-up out of that race, Who Dares. Second up at his last preparation, he improved eight lengths on figures when going from a Geelong Maiden win to a Sandown BM64 win. Expect him to be hard to beat.

Race 5 No. 1 FIRST IMMORTAL- ($5)

Sticking with FIRST IMMORTAL in Race 5. Another from the Kavanagh stable, the son of Churchill was impressive at the track and trip on May 20, scoring from Son Of Solly. He sat on the speed that day and was strong to the line, going 6.5 lengths faster than standard, which is a better figure than what any horse in this race has produced. He meets a number of the rivals he defeated that day and has the speed to find a spot from the barrier early on.
