The CF Orr Stakes barrier draw will be announced on Wednesday, February 07, 2024 at 9:30am. This is where we will get a look at the final field for the first Group 1 of 2024.

Like the majority of thoroughbred races in Victoria, the barrier draws are computer generated to determine which gates the horses will jump from for the 1400m feature event.

Is There A Draw Bias in the CF Orr Stakes?

Inside draws appear to have a bit of an advantage when it comes to the CF Orr Stakes, especially over the past 20 years. Horses can still win from barriers such as 10 and 11 however.
