Race 1 No. 9 PAMPUNI- ($1.45)

The opener is a Maiden over the 1300m and PAMPUNI should go a couple of spots better than a debut effort that saw her finish 3rd behind Major Key at Pakenham over the 1200m on November 10. The Phillip Stokes-trained galloper attracted plenty of support in the betting that day and settled in a midfield position before running on well to land just over a length away. She should be better for the experience and comes in with the best last start benchmark figures of any runner, while she draws well in barrier 3 with Daniel Moor to ride. 

BEST BET 🏆 

Race 2 No. 7 TWIN PERFECTION- ($2.70)

TWIN PERFECTION should be hard to beat in Race 2. The four-year-old has had two career starts for an eye-catching 3rd on debut at Sale over the 1100m before heading to Moonee Valley and running 4th behind Aoraki Summit. He settled handy in that race and stuck on well to go 0.5 lengths slower than standard benchmark. That is a better figure than what any horse in this race has produced. The son of Nicconi should find this easier and just needs to find a spot early on from the wide barrier.
