Race 6 No. 3 GOTTABESAVVY – ($4.60) 

GOTTABESAVVY gets his chance in Race 6. The four-year-old was around the mark in slightly harder grade than this before dropping to a BenchMark 64 at Sandown over the 2400m on March 20 and placing 4th behind Mi Rock Aly. He settled handy in that race and came out three-wide at the 800m mark but was just outstayed late in the piece. The Busuttin/Young galloper comes back to the country and was a winner at his only start at the track, with that coming over the 2000m just under a year ago.

Race 8 No.8 I MISS MARGIE  – ($5.50) 

I MISS MARGIE can end the day a winner. The three-year-old has finished top three in five of her past six starts, losing the ride in the other. She has led at her past couple and just went down late in the piece behind Mintulee at Morphettville on March 2 over the 1000m, going 6.6 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which is more than six lengths better than the next best last start benchmark figure of any runner in this race and the best that any has produced in the past two years. She can hold the lead from the inside barrier and will take some beating at the business end.
