TRIUMPHANTLY can break the maiden in Race 4 of the day at Bendigo. The four-year-old improved throughout his debut campaign and resumed with a close up 6th at Sandown on November 23 over the 1200m behind Zouthur. He was posted wide in that race before sticking on, going 0.1 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is a better figure than what any horse in this race has produced. A firmer in the early betting, Craig Williams just needs to negotiate the wide barrier.

Race 8 No. 18 SHEER CLASS- ($7.50)

SHEER CLASS sneaks into the field as the fourth emergency and is right in this for the Ben & JD Hayes stable. The four-year-old broke his maiden when resuming before heading to Geelong for a 0-64 race and finishing runner-up to Our Boy Bryan. He settled handy in that race to stick on to go 0.1 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is the best last start figure of any runner. He comes into this third up and the 1400m suits.
