Bendigo Tips 21/09/2022

BEST BET 🏆

Race 3 No. 7 BEOUR BAY- ($3.50)

BEOUR BAY has been edging closer with every run and can chalk up his first victory when she lines up in Race 3. The four-year-old was solid when resuming after a long break with a 3rd behind What You Need at Geelong over the 1118m before stepping up to the 1300m at Bendigo and running on very strongly to fill the exacta behind Nijiko. She has drawn barrier 4 for this assignment and can run them down late in the piece.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 5 No. 10  GARZA BLANCA- ($5.50)

This looks to be a suitable assignment for GARZA BLANCA. The Maher/Eustace galloper steps out for his second career start and should find this easier than a debut effort that saw him finish 8th at Sandown over the 1200m on August 24. He started as a $4.60 favourite that day but could only manage 8th behind Japanese Emperor. Blinkers go on and worth noting that he comes in with the best last start benchmark figures of any runner. Ethan Brown rides and just needs to negotiate the wide barrier.

BEST VALUE 💰(EACH-WAY)

Race 8 No. 4  HOFF TO SEA- ($13)

HOFF TO SEA can go close in Race 8 of the day at Bendigo. The five-year-old has had three runs this preparation and was a real eye catcher on the Soft at Bendigo when resuming with a 3rd over the 1100m back in July before scoring at Echuca. He settled too far back when 8th at Morphettville after a six-week break at his most recent start. The son of Bon Hoffa comes back to Bendigo and the step to the 1400m should suit.
