Race 4 No. 7 HELL FOLLOWS- ($2.50)
HELL FOLLOWS can chalk up the first win of her career when she steps out in Race 4. The Shane Nichols-trained galloper has had the three career starts and has been a fraction unlucky in all of those. At her most recent start, the daughter of Hellbent sat behind the leaders on a solid tempo at Pakenham and was held up in the straight before running 4th behind Gamegirl over the 1400m. The winner out of that then went on the claim a BenchMark 64 at her next start. The slight step up in trip to the 1500m looks perfect and Dean Yendall should enjoy a nice time of it from barrier 2.

Race 7 No 10 YOSEMITE- ($6.50)
YOSEMITE can be an improver in Race 7. The five-year-old drops back down to a BenchMark 58 and has had a stack of excuses at her past two runs in BM64 grade at Morphettville. She was held up when 3rd two starts ago then was never on the course when fading into 8th at her latest. That came over the 1050m. The five-year-old comes back to Bendigo and has won two and placed in three out of eight at the track and trip. She saves ground from barrier 1 and has attracted support in the early betting.
