Race 7 No. 5 COTEL- ($1.90)

Keen on COTEL in Race 7 The Peter Moody-trained galloper resumes from a one-start campaign that saw her impress on debut with a win in a Saturday race at Caulfield back in winter ahead of Jukebox Flyer. She led all the way to score by nearly two lengths. Form out of that race has been a bit iffy but she did go more than eight lengths faster than standard benchmark and should be suited at the Cranbourne. Look for her to hold the lead from barrier 1 and as long as they don’t go too hard in the early and middle stages, she can make it two from two.

Race 2 No. 10 FLYING TEMPTRESS- ($2.15)

A few unknowns with some first starters in action here but willing to roll the dice on FLYING TEMPTRESS after she produced a solid debut performance at Moonee Valley on November 11. That came over the 1200m and the daughter of Capitalist settled just behind the leaders but was held up from the corner until the 150m before hitting the line hard and just missing behind Aoraki Summit. She looks to be a future winner and it may come as soon as this race.
