BEST BET 🏆
Race 7 No. 3 HERO OF ROMANI – ($4)
Troy Baker sticks with HERO OF ROMANI after going close to knocking off Beruti when racing third-up. Beruti stole a winning march over this track and trip with both Hero Of Romani and a green Square Doughnut cutting into the margin as the post loomed large. Baker found no luck on him as Adam Trinder tried the horse out to a mile at his next start. Boxed on despite the wide run with Trinder applying the blinkers next and bringing him back a furlong in Launceston. Baker found the sweet run behind the leader to peel out on straightening. Hero Of Romano took care of business for the smart punters who were on can go on with it here.

Race 5 No. 9 TILTHEREWARSYOU – ($6.50)
Spreyton trainer Liandra Gray has found the winning formula with TILTHEREWARSYOU this prep. She was away only fairly when resuming under apprentice rider Chelsea Baker who hunted up to find the lead on straightening. She became overrun by Gee Gees Buzz in encouraging return with punters slashing her quote throughout betting at her next start. Tiltherewarsyou wanted to do plenty wrong under Baker before getting the job done with the light weight. Gray responded by throwing the reins to senior rider Mehmet Ulucinar and the mare jumped cleanly. Ulucinar had been able to control the race at a sedate speed with Tiltherewarsyou responding strongly when challenged.
BEST VALUE 💰
Race 8 No. 5 BLUSHED – ($8)
The last seems to work out alright for a horse like BLUSHED who has drawn to receive plenty of favours. She settled handy on resumption before chasing down the leader in Thelma to land a good win in Launceston. We’ll put a line through her latest effort as Barry Campbell sent his mare out over a mile second-up. She was only fairly away in a negative run for her, just never looking likely at any stage. Pressure should be good in front here with Baker playing johnny-on-the-spot before racing past some tiring horses.
