BEST BET 🏆

Race 6:  No.7  VIMINELE

The Lindsay Gough-trained VIMINELE is back in winning form and if he can overcome the wide draw here, back-to-back victories are a distinct possibility. Last start, the Spill The Beans galloper kept the improvement chain going where he went one better than his recent Sunshine Coast effort by taking out a BM78 Hcp, here over 1350m. With Jake Bayliss aboard, he remained unbeaten over the track and distance, carrying 58.5kgs to victory that day. Bayliss sticks with him here and although drawn the outside gate, he adores racing here and has the speed to cross and find cover early. Now in winning form, he can go on with it in this contest.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 3:  No.13  SNOW  BOUM

The Tony Gollan-trained SNOW BOUM has finally found her mojo and down in the weights here, looks a serious lightweight chance in this contest. Last start, the Alpine Eagle mare saluted for the first time this preparation when she hung on for a game win in a Class 1 set weights affair, here over 1350m. She took over at the 800m mark and fought off the challenges to get the nod on the line. Boom apprentice, Cejay Graham is the new pilot here and after her claim, the mare drops 6kgs for this event. She does face stiffer opposition here but already a winner over the track and distance, she draws ideally in gate three and will take beating here.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 7:  No.13  O’MISS BEHAVING

Robert Heathcote saddles-up O’MISS BEHAVING here who has hit a purple patch of good form and looks well placed for back-to-back victories here. Last start, the Hidden Dragon mare came off a pair of runner-up finishes where she went one better and arrived just in time to claim victory in a BM68, here over the mile trip. James Orman celebrated his third top-two finish on the mare in as many rides and sticks with her in this contest. She steps up slightly in grade here and is drawn wide but will get back early anyway and be doing her best work at the business end of the event. She comes in well with just 56.5kgs and now a track and distance winner, she can go on with it here.
