Tony Gollan saddles-up VACCINE here who is four starts into this preparation and now looks ready to win. Last start, the Not A Single Doubt mare was fourth-up and made further improvement when she beat all but one home in a BM72 Hcp over 1350m at Doomben. She grabbed the front in the final stages but was grabbed on the line by a swooper. She covered her last 600m, 5.3 lengths quicker than benchmark, more than 4 lengths better than her rivals here. Ryan Maloney boasts a 27% strike rate with the stable and sticks with the mare for this contest. She maps to settle mid-field with cover from gate five and with a clear run to the line, she will take beating here.

Race 2: No.3 MILITARY GAMBLER ($2.40 with Ladbrokes)
The Chris Munce-trained MILITARY GAMBLER is in great touch this time in and looks poised for back-to-back victories in this contest. Last start, the four-year-old gelding brought up his second victory this preparation when he hung on for a gutsy win in a BM78 Hcp over 2020m at Doomben. He covered that trip, half a length slower than benchmark, still the best in this field. Justin Huxtable boasts a strong record with him and has the reins for this assignment. Even better drawn here in gate five, his resume shows five top-two finishes from his past seven starts and he looks set to add another one to his list here.

Race 4: No.4 WAIRERE FALLS ($5 with Palmerbet)
The Chris Waller-trained WAIRERE FALLS has been thereabouts since resuming and now looks ready to produce his best. Last start, the Savabeel gelding travelled too far back and gave himself no chance of recovery when he finished mid-field (beaten less than three lengths) in a strong BM90 Hcp over 1615m at Doomben. He did run on strongly and covered his last 600m, 6.3 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best against this line-up by more than 2 lengths. Three starts in and he should be ready to produce here.
