Last start, the New Approach gelding stepped-up in distance and showed no signs of fatigue as he claimed back-to-back victories in a BM78 Hcp, here over 2400m. He ran a new personal best that day, covering the trip, 2.1 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this field. He also posted the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals for the race. He meets similar company here and his latest form suggests he will take beating in this contest.

Last start, the Outreach mare showed a ton of improvement when she beat all but one home in a BM70 Hcp at Eagle Farm over the mile. She put 2.5 lengths on them that day while carrying 58kgs. She ran the trip. 4.6 lengths quicker than benchmark, equal-best here with Highlights. Five starts here on her home track have ended with two wins and as many runner-up finishes. Nicely drawn in gate three, she maps to settle mid-field on the fence and fitter for two runs back, she looks right in the mix in this contest.
