The Team Edmonds-trained STORM THE FORTRESS is third-up today and now looks ready to produce his best. Last start, we tipped the Invader gelding as our best each-way value bet and he didn’t disappoint when finishing third (at $10) in a BM75, here over 1200m. Beaten less than a length that day, he had Martin Harley as the pilot and showed signs he needs a little more ground now. This looks ideal for him as Harley remains in the saddle for this assignment. Nicely drawn in gate four, he is already a winner when third-up and looks the testing material in this contest.

Race 5: No.4 CHATTY LADY ($5.60 with BoomBet)
Toowoomba galloper CHATTY LADY loves racing here and in great touch this time in, looks on target for another win at the Farm. Last start, the Spirit Of Boom mare came off a good win on Class 6 company on her home track when she took on similar company here, and finished third over the longer 1400m trip with James Orman aboard. Trainer Mark Currie feels she can go even further here so he is sending her over the mile for the first time. Fourth-up here, she is a two-time winner at the track and has Orman sticking with her for this assignment. If she handle the rise in trip, fourth-up here, she should prove hard to beat.

Race 4: No.3 SATAY CHICKEN ($6.80 with BoomBet)
The Cody Morgan-trained SATAY CHICKEN returns to the Farm for another crack at victory and with a gear change here, just might pull it off. Last start, the Iffraaj gelding returned to the podium when he beat all but one home in a Class 3 Hcp, here over 1820m. That was top-three finish number eight from his ten race starts to date. He meets similar company here under set weights conditions as the stable fit the winkers for the first time. He is a model of consistency and with a 2kg claim here, looks in the mix.
