Race 4 No. 13 LOTTACHEEX.– ($4)

This might be the one for LOTTACHEEX. The eight-start maiden has placed in her two runs this time in and has been posted back in races where they have absolutely crawled early on. They have both been at Geelong and last time over the 1200m she was posted wide without cover throughout but made solid ground late in the piece to grab 3rd behind Fugacity. She jumps up to the 1509m and has drawn to get the perfect trail from barrier 2 with Damien Oliver to ride.

Race 5 No. 1 ALESSANDRO- ($)

We stretch out over the 2400m in Race 5 and ALESSANDRO should be ready at his fourth run back from a spell. The seven-year-old stepped up to the 2400m at BenchMark 64 level on November 24 at Bendigo and sat on the speed before sticking on well to run 3rd behind Mr French. He was a four length improver on benchmark figures at this stage of his last preparation when 5th at Sandown, beaten just under three lengths by the handy Point Nepean. He carts 62kg but this is much easier opposition than what he has been facing and he should go very close.
