He ran his last 600m, half a length slower than benchmark, still the best last-start effort here. He is ever-consistent, racking up five minor placings from his 12 starts to date. Robbie Fradd has the reins here as he gets the gun-run from gate one. With the favourable draw and a new jockey, he should he get the done here.

Team Edmonds saddle-up track specialist DARK HORSE here who is on fire this time in and looks every chance of back-to-back victories here. Last start, the Nicconi gelding scored his second win this preparation when he finished best to narrowly take out a Class 2 Hcp, here over 1300m. That was win number two at the track from his four visits to the Aquis Park circuit. In career-best form, he should handle the class rise without any issues and is joined her by Sean Cormack who has his first ride on the five-year-old. He maps to settle just off the speed and with a trouble-free run, he looks set to go on with his good work.
