Race 3: No.8 MONTANA MAY ($5 with Palmerbet)
The Annabel Neasham-trained MONANA MAY is yet to miss a top-four finish in six career starts and looks well placed here for back-to-back victories. Last start, the Snitzel filly finally broke through for her Maiden victory when she put two lengths on her rivals over the mile at Ipswich. Box-seating to the turn, she soon took over and raced away for an easy win. She also posted the fastest final 600m and 400m sectionals for the race. Up in grade today, she drops in weight and maps to settle in a similar position. In the right mind-set of late and with the form on the board, she looks a solid chance of giving this a real shake.

Race 4: No.3 SUPERARE ($4 with bet365)
The Stuart Kendrick-trained SUPERARE is third-up here and looks ready to record his second win at the track. Last start, the Exceed And Excel gelding came off a first-up win on the synthetic track at the Sunshine Coast when he finished unplaced on the course proper at Corbould Park in a BM78 over 1000m. He did travel three-wide most of the race but still disappointed in his run to the line that day. Robbie Fradd has the reins here and dropping 5.5kgs, we could see a different horse in this event.

Race 6: No.1 GETYOURGREYON ($21 with BlueBet)
Toowoomba galloper GETYOURGREYON is second-up here and ticks enough boxes to be right in the mix at odds. Last start, the Bel Esprit gelding resumed off a lengthy six-month absence and clearly in need of the run, finished down the track in a Class 5 Hcp over 1200m at Ipswich. Despite missing a podium finish, he still ran hoi last 600m, 5.5 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this field. Already a two-time at the track, he is also a three-time winner when second-up and the step in distance here will put him right there at the finish.
