Race 1: No.1 MAGADAN ($2.40 with Palmerbet)
The Team Snowden-trained MAGADAN has found his mojo and looks all set here to go on with it today. Last start, the Russian Revolution gelding was second-up when he broke through for his Maiden win over the mile at Warwick Farm. Ridden by Chad Schofield that day, he ran his last 600m, 2.9 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best last-start effort here and recorded the fastest final 600m and 400m sectionals as well. Schofield sticks with him today and fitter for two runs back, he will take beating here.

Race 7: No.1 RESTRICTIONS ($3.80 with bet365)
Locally-trained by Adam Duggan, RESTRICTIONS is second-up here and has strong claims for back-to-back victories today. Last start, the Written Tycoon gelding was resuming off a 12-month absence and showing no signs of fatigue, broke through for his Maiden win over 1100m at Wyong. He ran his last 600m, half a length quicker than benchmark, the best in this field while posting the fastest final 200m sectional as well. Dylan Gibbons steered him to victory that day and has the job again in this contest. Ideally drawn in gate three today, the former Hong Kong galloper looks set here to make it two-straight.

Race 8: No.4 AUDETTE ($9 with Ladbrokes)
This one is a real lottery with so many coming off long breaks and among them is local galloper AUDETTE who is well drawn here to bring up the hat-trick today. Last start, the four-year-old mare went back-to-back off after a win at Warwick Farm when she clobbered them in a BM72 Hcp over 1250m on Randwick’s Kensington track. She had the run of the race that day and passing the 300m mark, took over and went on with it from there, winning by 1.5 lengths on the line. She was then spelled and has since returned to work, winning both trials she has contested, the last of those by four lengths on a heavy track. Already a winner first-up and unbeaten over the 1200m trip, she looks a solid winning chance here at odds and is well worth an each-way ticket today.
