Race 5 No. 4 ESPECIAL COURAGE – ($4.60)
ESPECIAL COURAGE can just about make it back to back wins when he steps out in Race 5 at Gundagai. The five-year-old battled at the backend of her last preparation but has been solid in two of her last three runs. At her latest, the five-year-old lined up at Albury six weeks ago and was strong to the line over the 1183m, defeating Snowbella in a race that has provided a couple of winners. She comes in with six-weeks in between runs and any sting out of the track is a bonus.

Race 4 No. 10 KATAWAY – ($21)
Going for one at the each-way quote here in the form of KATAWAY. The five-year-old was excellent at a big price at Albury two starts ago on the Heavy over the 1600m, leading and nearly pinching it when 4th behind Stratum Pride. She then headed to Wyong and did a stack wrong when bounding at the start before working hard to lead and fading late over the 2000m behind Roccaforte. Back slightly in trip and on a ground with some give, the daughter of Direct Charge is worth thought at the quote.
