Race 5 No. 7 NO DRAMA- ($2.45)
Best Bet comes up in Race 5 and it is NO DRAMA that should be hard to beat. The three-year-old from the Lindsey Smith yard has had the two career starts for a win on debut at New Zealand earlier this year before jumping to a BenchMark 64 at Morphettville and finishing runner-up behind The Guava. That came over the 1100m. The son of Ghibellines resumes from that effort and should find this easier, while he has drawn to get a nice run from barrier 5.

Race 8 No. 2 RIGEL STAR- ($9.50)
RIGEL STAR has been solid in all of his runs this preparation and should give us a contest in the final event of the day. The Ben & JD Hayes-trained galloper likes the wet and was a winner at Morphettville on Soft going two starts ago before having a heap of excuses at that venue in a BenchMark 76 when 4th behind Solar Gale. The son of Zoustar went six lengths faster than standard in his win, while he gives the impression the step up to the 1200m shouldn’t be an issue. Josh Richards rides and will look to land in the running line from barrier 13.

Race 6 No. 15 WISH I MIGHT- ($23)
The second emergency, WISH I MIGHT, gets into the field on the back of a couple of scratchings and looms as value at the quote. She has been solid in a series of runs at Sandown of late and wasn’t far away at her most recent run when 4th behind Savonia over the 1300m on September 14. The daughter of Strategic has gone faster than standard at her last two runs, with one of those coming on a Soft track. She shouldn’t be too far away in the run and can go close at a price.
