Last start, the Zoustar mare crushed her Maiden rivals at Doomben where she put five lengths on them over the mile trip. She covered the 1650m, 4 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this field and set a new personal best as well. She also recorded the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals for the race. Drawn the fence today, James McDonald has the reins and with a trouble-free run, she looks the one to beat again.

Newcastle galloper DECADENT TALE makes her track debut here and after winning her past three (all on different tracks), she may take beating again. Last start, the Kermadec mare made it three on the trot when she took out a BM64 Hcp over 2100m on a Heavy 10 at Gosford. She ran the trip, half a length quicker than benchmark, the best in this field while posting the fastest final 400m sectional as well. Dylan Gibbons steered her to victory that day and has the job again today. After the claim, she carries just 1kg more here and looks the testing material in this contest.

The Mark Newnham-trained TWITCH is second-up today and seeing the Kensington track for the first time, looks right in the mix here. Last start, the I Am Invincible mare was fresh off a six-month absence when she wasn’t disgraced, finishing third in a BM72 Hcp over 1100m on a Heavy 10 at Warwick Farm. She ran a personal best that day, covering the trip, 5 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this line-up. Today, she maps to take a sit behind a lot of early pace here and Nash Rawiller has the reins for the first time. Already a winner when second-up, she looks a solid winning chance at odds today.
