This might be the one for the 16-start Maiden, SWEET BELLA, to break through. The four-year-old has finished runner-up at her past two starts with the first of those coming over the 2200m at Bendigo two starts ago before dropping to the 1600m and bumping into Tass. She settled back in the field last time before running on to go 4.8 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is seven lengths better than the next best last start figures of any runner. The daughter of Helmet was a close 3rd the only time she raced at the track and trip. This looks within her grasp and Teo Nugent rides from barrier 2.

Race 7 No. 5 EQUINE PHILOSOPHER – ($8.50)
EQUINE PHILOSOPHER can get the job done in Race 7. The five-year-old has placed at his two runs this time in with those coming at Kilmore. He was luckless over the 1600m in the first of those before jumping up to the 2000m and leading before just going down late when 3rd behind Blazing Rebel. The son of Unencumbered comes into this third up and with the fitness in the tank, while he should enjoy a nice time of it from barrier 3.
