Race 5 No. 5 TORI’S DEE – ($2.60)
Some promising types feature in Race 5, a BenchMark 64 over the 1000m and TORI’S DEE should be hard to beat. The Jamie Edwards-trained galloper has had the two career starts and was a dominant winner on debut at Warracknabeal before heading to the Sandown Hillside circuit and finishing a narrow runner-up in a BM64 behind Miss Balvenie. Worth noting that the 3rd and 6th place getter have since come out and won, while Tori’s Dee went a very healthy10.6 lengths faster than standard, which is better than what any horse in this race has produced. Damien Oliver rides and will either lead or box seat from barrier 1.

Race 3 No. 11 SKETCH – ($3.70)
Plenty of interest in SKETCH at his first run back from a spell and am going with the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper in Race 3. He has had three starts and was 3rd behind the promising Millane at his first run back in the autumn at Flemington at Listed level over the 1000m before running 6th behind Crosswinds at Moonee Valley over the 1200m after that. That form reads well for this and he should be within striking distance early on from barrier 6 with Ben Melham to ride. He strikes at 23% for the stable, providing a 22% profit on turnover for punters.

Race 4 No. 11 G’DAY GORGEOUS – ($7.50)
Hoping that the second emergency, G’DAY GORGEOUS, can sneak into the field for Race 4. The four-year-old has had the four career starts and looks to have come back in solid order this time around with two placings to kick off her campaign. She was 3rd at Moe when resuming on the Heavy before heading to Cranbourne and only going down late when attempting to lead all the way. She should be suited at Mornington and comes into this with the fitness in the tank after two runs. Look for her to cross over from barrier 9 and she should be in it for a long way.
